Really an informative article.

Can you please confirm that exemption on LTCG received is also applicable if I buy under-construction apartment in re-sale ? I hope the condition is the same that the construction needs to be completed within three years from the date of transfer of the original house.

In case I invest all the LTCG received for buying an under-construction apartment, what proof I need to attach while filing the tax return. Can I attach the builder agreement or Allotment letter of under construction property ?

Also if LTCG received from sale of a house property(Single Owner-Self) is 10 Lakhs and we(self & spouse) buy joint under-construction apartment for 20 Lakhs. I hope my(self) share of investment to save LTCG tax will be counted as 10 lakhs.
